PHP MySQL database

I was asked to create a database for dispersed directors and administrator of an environmental charity in 2001. Unlike today there were then no open source CRM solutions like CiviCRM, and off-the-shelf CRM were expensive and geared to big organisations, so I built a database in PHP and MySQL. New custom views and reports were added over the years, and some were linked direct from the homepage.

JRI_crm_menu

Many supporters had expertise in particular topics relevant to JRI.

JRI_interests_table

JRI collaborated with many other groups and tracked supporters’ affiliations.

JRI_affiliation_table

Reports on individuals noted which events had been attended.

JRI_browse_events

Event bookings and records were admininstered.

JRI_visitor_table

Communications with the office and with Directors could be noted.

JRI_find

I generated a global emailing list, but also sublists covering a range of postcodes for local events.
